It is an element that is also found in Italy, especially in <a href=\"\/en\/themes\/festivals\/giants-in-calabria\/\" title=\"Giants in Calabria\">festivals in Calabria<\/a>, in northern France and Belgium, where some feasts of giants still have the staging of the defeat of the dragon as a core event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The <em>Moma<\/em> of <a href=\"\/en\/territories\/regional-routes\/duke-of-lerma\/denia-and-the-rise-of-its-marquis\/valencia\/\" title=\"Valencia\">Valencia<\/a> is a female figure (impersonated by a man) that symbolizes the values of virtue, grace, righteousness and order, set against the <em>Momos<\/em>: a group of seven dancers, who represent the opposite and surround him with knavish and irreverent gestures.
