The Acquaviva Virtual Museum

The project aims to create a virtual museum, with the main goal of bringing back to life the aristocratic lifestyle of Naples’ Kingdom, starting from the reconstruction of Acquaviva’s palaces.
Acquaviva was one of the most important aristocratic families in the Kingdom. A simple digital reconstruction is not enough: we want to provide a more realistic and entertaining experience. By using the controller and virtual reality set the viewer can enjoy an immersive experience. We decided to introduce two different routes: the first one is a simple virtual tour, where we provide the visitors with a virtual reality headset and a controller; the second one is an interactive story which takes place in the very buildings and rooms where Acquaviva’s lived.
