The second procession of Holy Monday in Castelsardo

Oil lamps and torches (brought by the sisters of the confraternity dressed in white and with their heads covered with a handkerchief) illuminate the most important part of the processional route of Lunissanti, which leads the Misteri from the Cathedral of Sant’Antonio Abate (Saint Anthony Abbot) to the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie (the home of the famous wooden crucifix, the oldest in the whole of Sardinia, made of juniper wood), the home of the Oratory of the Confraternity.
